Privacy Policy
This policy covers DCP Books MCP, an internal software integration used only by Driven Capital Partners. It is not a consumer product and is not offered to the public.
Who this covers
Driven Capital Partners, LLC ("DCP", "we") operates an internal software integration called DCP Books MCP. It connects to QuickBooks Online company files that DCP and its affiliated entities own or administer, so that our own principals can read financial reports across those entities.
The integration is used solely by DCP personnel. It is not distributed, sold, or made available to any third party, and it has no external users or customers.
What data it accesses
Using credentials that a DCP administrator explicitly authorises for each company file, the integration reads accounting data from the QuickBooks Online API. That includes profit and loss statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, accounts receivable and payable ageing, and the underlying accounting records needed to produce them.
The integration performs read operations only. It does not create, alter, or delete records in any QuickBooks company file.
Where the data goes
Accounting data is retrieved from Intuit and used on DCP-controlled computers. It is not transmitted to any third-party service, not stored on any external server, and not used for advertising, profiling, resale, or training of any kind. There is no analytics or telemetry.
Authorisation credentials
OAuth tokens issued by Intuit are stored locally on the DCP-controlled machine running the integration, in a directory restricted to the operating system user. Tokens are used exclusively to authenticate to Intuit's API and are never shared.
Access to any company file can be revoked at any time from within QuickBooks Online, or by deleting the stored credentials. Revocation takes effect immediately.
Retention
The integration does not maintain a database of accounting records. Reports are produced on request and retained only as long as needed for the internal analysis that prompted them.
Personal information
Accounting records may incidentally contain names and contact details of customers, vendors, and investors of DCP entities. That information is handled under the same confidentiality obligations that apply to DCP's books and records generally, and is not disclosed except as required to operate the business or comply with law.
Changes
If the integration's scope changes in a way that affects any of the above, this page will be updated and the date at the top revised.
